Introduction to Antique Aged Metal

Our team has been hard at work developing three new antique aged metal patinas for our copper sheets, brass sheets and zinc sheets. These unique patinas are perfect for enhancing metal cladding, interior design features, and splashbacks.

First up, we have Antique Aged Brass, a refined take on our standard aged brass finish that exudes vintage charm and authenticity. Next, Antique Aged Copper offers a similar treatment to aged copper, adding a touch of elegance with a weathered appearance. Lastly, Antique Aged Zinc provides a vintage and authentic appeal that transforms any metal surface into a work of art.

How its Done

Hand-applied in our patina studio, these antique aged metal patina finishes are one-of-a-kind and cannot be replicated with any other type of finish. The unique beauty of these finishes can be admired on our work in our Flickr Gallery.

To further enhance and protect the patina, we offer the option of finishing with beeswax or clear lacquer. Beeswax not only protects the surface but also brings out the rich colors, allowing the patina to develop further over time. Alternatively, our clear lacquer comes in two grades – standard and hard-wearing. The standard option is perfect for decorative items, while the hard-wearing lacquer provides added protection in high-traffic areas.

We offer these patina finishes on the products we make and also on sheets up to 3m x 1m and 8ft x 4ft.
