Our zinc sheets are sourced exclusively from leading European zinc mills, ensuring superior engineering and an exceptional natural surface finish. To achieve precise fabrication and a flawless final product, we utilise advanced CNC machinery capable of bending sheets into long, seamless lengths with exceptional accuracy. The precise dimensional tolerances of our materials allow us to minimise joints, resulting in a sleek and uninterrupted surface, even on larger bar tops. To further support design flexibility and continuity, we stock zinc sheets up to 3 metres in length, making it easier to achieve a seamless aesthetic.

A high-quality bar top requires a strong and stable foundation, which is why we use MRMDF and Birch Ply timber as the supporting structure. These materials provide excellent durability and ensure a sturdy, visually appealing base for every installation.

Once fabrication is complete, our zinc countertops undergo a meticulous finishing process to ensure they meet the highest standards of artisanship. At our dedicated finishing shop, skilled specialists expertly blend welded areas, refining the surface to achieve a smooth satin finish. This careful process eliminates any marks left from fabrication, creating a flawless and visually striking result that highlights the natural beauty of zinc.

Customers have the option to leave their zinc bar top in its natural state, allowing it to age gracefully and develop a rich patina over time, or to opt for an initial patina treatment to accelerate the ageing process. Aged patina is a particularly popular choice, as it provides an instantly weathered appearance, adding character and depth from day one. For high-traffic bar environments, we generally recommend either the natural finish or the aged patina option, as both allow zinc to mature beautifully with use. While we do offer durable lacquer coatings to preserve the finish, we advise against their long-term application in busy settings such as bars. Zinc is a dynamic, evolving material that develops a distinctive look over time, making it a standout choice for those who appreciate its ever-changing character and charm.

Once the zinc bar top is complete, whether it’s left natural or finished with a patina, we then apply a beeswax polish. This provides a final clean and creates a protective seal which will slow the development of the natural patina. Caring for a zinc bar top is simple.

• For both natural and aged finishes, a soft, clean cloth with water and some mild detergent is all that’s needed to clean spills and to maintain the surface.
• Harsh cleaning products should be avoided, as they can damage the finish.
• Over time, the patina will continue to develop and blend naturally.
• If desired, beeswax can be reapplied after cleaning to help regulate the rate of patina formation.
