Front Door, Grand Entrance or Commercial Door, kick plates will help protect from foot traffic. Many people push doors open or keep them ajar with a foot. Kick plates can be narrow to protect the lower part of a door or they can be half height if trolleys are pushed through door openings.

Traditional yellow brass or Victorian brass as is sometimes called is a very popular choice for domestic front kick plates. This is stocked in natural and mirror finishes, our sheets of mirror brass are 2000mm x 1000mm and we have them double polished to reduce the grain in the mirror. We pay a little extra for this but the quality is better. Standard commercial mirror polished brass does have a noticeable background grain. So, as you see from the sheet size we can cut brass kick plates to suit most door sizes. The metal can be maintained with Brasso type polishes.

Mirror polished stainless steel is another option for a kickplate, the thickness is 1.2mm, the quality of the mirror is amazing, the sheet is chemically polished so there is no grain.

Plain aluminium and brushed stainless steel kicks are the basic, need a plate to do a job option. Very popular because of the pricing. We offer these made to measure.
