We supply and distribute Corten steel sheet metal, commonly known as weathering steel. This group of steel alloys has been engineered to eliminate the need for painting, as it develops a stable, rust-like finish over time. To replicate this weathered appearance more efficiently, we use an accelerated rusting process on weathering steel sheets, achieving a mature rust patina within just a few days-compared to the 12 months or more it would usually take under natural conditions. Once the patina has formed, you can opt to apply a clear matt lacquer which will seal the surface. This protective coating is especially useful for items likely to come into contact with clothes, as it prevents rust transfer.

Our rusted sheet metal is primarily produced using Corten and weathering steel sheets, making it suitable for both interior and exterior design uses. The rusted finish reveals an attractive range of tones, from burnt orange to dark chestnut, offering a flexible visual appeal across various settings. While “COR-TEN” is a trademark owned by U.S. Steel, the name is often used more generally to describe weathering steel. These alloy steels are valued for their enhanced corrosion resistance, as the patina that forms naturally serves as a protective layer against further weathering.
