Bespoke Metalwork for Drinks & Hospitality Brands
Project introduction
Metal has long been used by premium drinks brands to create distinctive, tactile displays, signage and promotional pieces. Their warmth, character and ability to age naturally make copper and brass particularly well suited to bars, hospitality interiors, product displays and branded installations.
At Metal Sheets Ltd, we manufacture bespoke metalwork for drinks brands, designers and hospitality projects, working from customer drawings, artwork and concepts to produce one-off pieces and small production runs.
The projects shown here demonstrate some of the different techniques we use, including CNC machining, engraving, precision cutting, fabrication, polishing, patination and contrasting infills.
Copper Branding & Promotional Metalwork
Copper and brass provide a particularly effective material for drinks branding because it can range from highly polished and reflective through to deep aged and patinated finishes.
The examples shown include engraved and machined plaques, freestanding branded pieces and metalwork produced for whisky and spirits promotions. Each project was manufactured individually to suit the artwork, required finish and intended application.
Manufacture
Grey Goose – Bespoke Antique Brass Drinks Cart Components
For a Grey Goose branded drinks cart, we manufactured a series of bespoke brass components from supplied designs.
The main panels and surrounding frames were CNC machined to create accurately positioned openings, radiused corners and fixing points. Following machining, the brass was hand finished and given an antique finish to create a softer, aged appearance appropriate for the finished hospitality piece.
A small engraved flying-geese detail provides a subtle piece of branding within the metalwork rather than dominating the overall design.

From Artwork to Finished Metalwork
Projects of this type often begin with little more than a drawing, CAD file or piece of brand artwork. Our role is to determine how that design can best be translated into metal while retaining the important visual details.
Depending on the project, manufacture can include CNC routing and engraving, laser cutting, forming, fabrication, polishing, hand finishing and chemical patination. We can also incorporate fixing holes, cut-outs, contrasting infills and other details required for installation or assembly.
This combination of fabrication and specialist finishing allows us to manufacture everything from an individual branded plaque to components forming part of a larger hospitality installation.
Working from Brand Artwork
We can work from supplied logos, brand artwork, drawings and design concepts, adapting them where necessary for machining, engraving, fabrication and finishing in metal.
