Plaque Size: We create brass engraved plaques as large as 2 meters by 200cm x 60cm, (6ft x 2ft), making it easy to design a plaque that stands out.

Brass Thickness: Our standard brass sheet thickness is 1.5mm, providing a robust surface that allows for detailed and precise engravings.

Brass Grade: We use CZ120 grade brass sheet, this produces clean cuts and intricate text designs, ensuring clarity.

Brass Finish: While we typically use natural finish brass for our plaques, we also offer a mirror finish as an alternative. At Metal Sheets Ltd, we take pride in our ability to create aged, vintage, and antique brass plaques. Our dedicated patina studio specialises in applying various finishes that lend character and uniqueness to each plaque. There are many pictures on this page to see patina options available.

Letter Filling: Letter can be filled with paints of different colours, or left natural or aged in a natural black brass patina as can be seen in this picture.

Lacquering: To protect your plaque’s finish, we can apply a tough clear lacquer coating. This helps preserve the brass’s original look, while unprotected brass will naturally develop a rich patina over time, adding a rustic charm.
