Metal Sheets Ltd produces high-quality copper wall panels and copper wall cladding, made to order in bespoke sizes and designs. With over 15 years of experience, our skilled team has worked with designers, architects, and contractors to create distinctive wall features crafted from solid copper sheet metal. These projects span residential and commercial interiors, where copper cladding delivers a truly timeless finish. We also work with copper-based alloys such as traditional brass to produce wall panels and cladding systems in a range of appearances — from bright metallic tones to hand-applied patinas. Whether used for feature walls, bar fronts, or reception interiors, our copper wall panels and decorative cladding systems bring warmth, luxury, and architectural texture to any space. Every panel is fabricated to order, with options for size, patina, and fixing detail tailored precisely to your design.
A feature wall made up of four aged patina copper wall panels, fitted edge to edge, creates a striking visual impact. It’s a bold design choice that adds character and depth to any space.
Copper wall panels and copper wall cladding can be crafted in a variety of styles and finishes, depending on the desired look. When left untreated, natural copper sheet metal gradually develops a patina over time, shifting through rich tones of red, brown, and even hints of green. This ageing process gives copper cladding its distinctive, organic appearance, something truly unique, as shown in the accompanying images.

Set against the rustic charm of exposed stonework and timber-framed windows, the wall panels add a dramatic splash of colour and texture. The cool blue tones contrast beautifully with the natural wood and stone surroundings, offering a balance of modern design and alpine character. This installation highlights how copper cladding can be used not just as a protective surface, but as a bold design statement in residential settings.
Whether used in kitchens, feature walls, or architectural details, copper wall cladding like this brings together practicality, durability, and artistic finish.

Are copper wall panels suitable behind heat sources?
A: Yes for typical interior installations with normal ventilation. For fireplaces, stoves or cookers, follow the appliance manufacturer’s clearance distances, avoid direct flame contact and use a suitable heat-resistant backer/substrate. Avoid lacquered finishes close to high heat—elevated temperatures can cause discolouration or yellowing. In warm zones, specify unsealed copper (allowing natural patina) or discuss alternative protection (e.g., removable splash guard, stainless/tempered-glass shield).
Do copper wall panels need sealing?
A: We can supply panels sealed/lacquered to stabilise appearance and simplify cleaning in bars, reception areas and low-heat kitchens. However, lacquer is not recommended where temperatures are unknown or likely to be high (e.g., near stoves, open fires or certain cookers), as heat can age or discolour the coating. If you prefer a steady colour away from heat sources, choose sealed; for heat-adjacent areas, select unsealed copper and maintain with gentle cleaning, allowing a natural patina to develop.
