Introduction to Aged Copper Sheets

At Metal Sheets Ltd, we have been patinating copper sheets for 15 years, drawing on our expertise to create stunning aged copper sheet finishes. Our dedicated patina studio specialises in developing and applying advanced patina techniques to various copper sheet metals and sections, including tubing and flat bars. We are proud to offer both aged and antique sheets.

Client Services for Aged Copper Sheets

Additionally, we provide patination services on a subcontract basis for trade clients who may not have their own facilities.  Our comprehensive services include fabrication and patination, supported by advanced facilities for laser cutting, guillotine cutting, and press braking. We can also construct composite panels with antique copper on the outer face, utilising MDF, PLY, or Styfoam cores, accompanied by a balancer sheet on the back for added durability.

Aged Copper Sheets Finishes

We collaborate with clients to choose the perfect patina for their projects, offering customised options and supplying sample panels. Our standard finish selections include Aged Copper, Antique Copper with Burnished variations, Blue & Green with variations.

Finished sheets can be sealed with beeswax, allowing the patina to develop a more rustic appearance over time, or we can apply a clear lacquer to preserve the finish.
