A bespoke copper bar top manufactured for the Brewery Bar at the Loch Ness Inn in Drumnadrochit, Scotland. Produced for commercial catering equipment specialist ScoMac, the fabricated copper counter forms a distinctive centrepiece within the refurbished hospitality interior.
The Project
Metal Sheets Ltd manufactured a bespoke copper bar top for the Brewery Bar at the Loch Ness Inn in Drumnadrochit, Scotland.
The counter was produced for ScoMac Catering Equipment, specialists in commercial catering equipment and bespoke bar and food-service installations. The copper top was designed to fit the substantial timber-clad bar structure, providing a continuous metal surface around the serving area.
Bespoke Copper Bar Top Manufacture
The bespoke copper bar top was manufactured by Metal Sheets Ltd to suit the dimensions and layout of the new bar, with formed edges and corners creating a substantial finished counter.
Following manufacture, the copper top was supplied to ScoMac Catering Equipment and fitted to the prepared timber base as part of the complete bar assembly before installation at the Loch Ness Inn.
Manufacturing bar tops separately in this way allows specialist shopfitters, catering equipment companies and interior contractors to incorporate bespoke copper surfaces into their own bar and counter constructions.

Installed at the Loch Ness Inn
The completed bar top now forms part of the refurbished Brewery Bar at the Loch Ness Inn in Drumnadrochit, near Loch Ness.
The finished copper counter runs around the timber-clad bar, providing a strong visual contrast with the reclaimed timber frontage. Its warm copper tones also work particularly well with the timber, dark flooring and copper-lined pendant lighting used throughout the completed interior.
The project demonstrates how bespoke metal surfaces can be incorporated into larger bar and hospitality installations, with Metal Sheets manufacturing bespoke metal surfaces for integration by commercial catering and interior contractors.
