From precision press braking and laser cutting to welded fabrication, engraving and specialist metal finishing, our Liverpool-based facility delivers bespoke sheet metal fabrication with consistency and craftsmanship. We work primarily with thin-gauge metals including copper, brass, zinc, stainless steel and aluminium for interior design, architectural, signage and bespoke commercial projects across the UK.
Welcome to Metal Sheets Ltd. Our 15,000 sq ft factory in Maghull, just outside Liverpool, is home to a skilled team and a wide range of metalworking departments. These include fabrication, patina finishing, CNC engraving, paint spraying, timber cutting, and metal spinning.
We produce everything from copper bar tops and brass sinks to signage and architectural cladding. We also supply the same high-quality metal sheets we use via our online store.
Since 2008, we’ve supported designers, contractors and architects with precision sheet metal fabrication, machining and specialist finishing. From one-off designs to full batch production, we deliver across the UK and internationally.
We work to recognised industry standards such as those set by the British Standards Institution (BSI) for sheet metal tolerances, helping ensure consistency and quality throughout our fabrication process.
We operate two CNC-controlled Amada press brakes (up to 3m and 100 tonnes), with tooling for tight bends, radii, and safety edges. We form copper, brass, zinc, aluminium, stainless steel, Corten steel and pewter — typically 0.5 to 4.0mm thick — for:
Bar tops and table edging
Architectural cladding
Cappings, flashings, and Corten steel signage
Our Safan guillotines offer precision shearing for sheets up to 3m x 4mm. We provide both internal and subcontract cutting, handling copper, brass, zinc, aluminium, stainless, pewter, bronze, and Corten.
Our in-house fibre laser expands the range of precision sheet metal components we can manufacture for bespoke projects. It allows us to cut detailed profiles, openings, lettering, decorative features and accurately sized components directly from digital drawings.
Laser cutting is particularly useful where a project requires complex shapes or repeatable components that would be difficult to produce by conventional guillotining or machining. It complements our press braking, welding, engraving and finishing facilities, allowing more of a project to be completed within our Liverpool workshop.
We regularly work with thin-gauge copper, brass, stainless steel, aluminium, zinc and other metals used across our architectural, interior, signage and bespoke fabrication projects.

Welding copper and brass takes exceptional skill. Our team specialises in TIG welding of copper, brass, stainless steel and Corten — from bespoke sink corners to cladded bar fronts.
Zinc is soldered for safety. We also fabricate:
For projects requiring precision in 0.5–3.0mm materials, our thin-gauge subcontract laser cutting capability is delivered via MS Laser Services, supporting detailed components, prototypes and architectural metalwork.

We use a large-format CNC router (3m x 1.5m) to engrave metals and cut timber tops. Engraving methods include rotary and diamond drag. CAD support is available for DXF, DWG, PDF, and IGES files.
We use metal spinning to produce round table tops:
Round table tops (up to 1100mm dia)
Hammered copper and hammered brass
Also, zinc sinks and ornamental bowls
Our in-house patina studio offers aged, antique, ombré, and industrial patinas on copper, brass, zinc, pewter, and Corten. Used widely in signage, interiors, and bespoke furniture, we can also develop custom finishes.
